Vince G. Portlock, Principal

 Vince G. Portlock earned his Bachelor’s Degree with Honors from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana, in 1986.   Vince then went on to Northern Illinois University where he served on the Law Review and earned his Juris Doctor Degree in 1989.

Vince has served the legal needs of individuals and businesses in Will County and surrounding Illinois counties for over 30 years in a range of areas including: Condominium/Townhome/ Homeowners Associations; Real Estate;  Banking and Commercial Litigation; Divorce; Estate Planning/Probate;  Personal Injury;  DUI and Traffic;  and Appellate Work.

In June, 2015, Vince formed The Law Offices of Vince G. Portlock, as a principal of the firm.

Vince has served in leadership capacity for a number of civic organizations, including:

Kiwanis Club of Joliet – He has been a member of the Joliet Kiwanis Club since 1990. Vince was the youngest elected President in the history of the Joliet Kiwanis Club and has served on their Board of Directors for over fifteen years. In October 2019, Vince became the first member in club history to once again take on the role as President and preside over the Club as it celebrated 100 years of service to the local community. 

He led the club’s Team Trivia event for five years raising funds for local charities and scholarships.

Vince served as Board Chair for UCP-CDS, an agency that aims to improve the quality of life for persons with disabilities.

He has also served as a Board member and President of the Exchange Club Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse as well as Past President of the Hundred Club of Will County, a civic organization that provides monetary relief to families of Police Officers and Fire Fighters killed in the line of duty.

Vince is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Will County Bar Association, and the Joliet Region Chamber of Commerce.
